the classic Reiner Knizia route-builder gets a sequel.
Lead yaks through the treacherous mountain pass.
Not a re-theme. Through The Mountains is a sequel full of new gameplay and decisions. What the game still gets right? That tight, elbows-out tension that made the first game such a classic.

timeless components, timeless gameplay
Through The Mountains deluxe includes resin yaks with metal leader tokens.
Just like Through the Desert's camels, you'll place two yaks a turn. That's the only action you can take.
New "Valley" and "Temple" mechanics allow players to race across the board.
Despite the simplicity of just two yaks a turn, placing yaks still feels like a massive decision each time!
